Profile pic - WordPressI am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). An Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist and a Registered Homeopath.  I have over 30 years clinical experience working with individuals (children, & adults) couples and groups including organisations.

My career has been in Health, Social Services & Medical Education fields. I have worked with Peter Levine (founder of Somatic Experiencing®) and have a key role in the training of Somatic Experiencing Practitioners both nationally and internationally. Having received several awards for Integrated Practice, including innovative and creative work with refugees and asylum seekers, I presented at the Barcelona International Forum for Cultural Diversity, Sustainable Development and Conditions for Peace; also at the European conference on Creativity, Innovation and Leadership; and at the African Creativity Conference.

In addition to my busy practice, I run practical, inspiring programmes©, for community groups, parents, carers, teachers, sports and health & well-being professionals. Programmes are sensitively tailored to the individual needs of a wide range of individuals & groups including refugees, carers, elders, people with disabilities, young families and people affected by HIV & cancer. Demand is high for these effective courses. I also work onsite with individuals and teams in organisations to redress the effects of stress & trauma in the workplace.

I am a member & listed in the Directory for the Somatic Experiencing Association UK (National Chair 2012 – 2015) and a member of the European Association for Somatic Experiencing (Ethics Committee 2016 – 2019)

Before the pandemic, my practice and group training was held in North West & South East London. Now I work effectively online locally, nationally and internationally (Portugal, Croatia, Ireland, USA and Canada) and I continue to work with organisations online
